The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Tuesday announced Senator Abiola Ajimobi as acting national chairman of the party.
The development followed affirmation of the suspension of National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by an Appeal Court.
Ajimobi has functioned as the National Deputy Chairman South of the party.
In a statement, Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu said the promotion aligned with the party’s constitution.
