EKEDC boosts customer experience with system upgrade



 

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has announced a significant system upgrade aimed at elevating the customer experience and improving service delivery.

The upgrade will take place from 6 PM on Friday, 18th October 2024, until 6 AM on Monday, 21st October 2024, during which time electricity token purchases and loading will be temporarily unavailable.
This proactive initiative is part of EKEDC’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies that enhance operational efficiency and ensure reliable electricity supply. The new system will deliver faster, more seamless transactions and provide customers with better tools to manage their electricity consumption, aligning with EKEDC’s mission to set new standards in the Nigerian electricity sector.

“We are committed to not just maintaining, but continually raising the bar for electricity distribution in Nigeria,” said Mrs Rehkiat Momoh, EKEDC’s acting CEO. “This upgrade is one of many steps we are taking to ensure our customers receive the best possible service.”

To minimize inconvenience, EKEDC encourages customers to purchase and load tokens ahead of the scheduled downtime. The EKEDC customer care team will be fully operational throughout the upgrade period to assist with any inquiries and provide support.
